Born in Houston, raised in Humble, there’s no doubt Texas native Todd Lowe infused his beloved True Blood counterpart, Terry Bellefleur, with both genuine southern charm and a grade-A southern drawl. But Gilmore Girls fans know Todd best as Lane’s ever supportive, hilarious, hard-rocking husband Zack Van Gerbig. A gifted musician on and off screen, Lowe continued to play professionally after Gilmore Girls ended its wildly successful seven season run. He has been a member of two Los Angeles-based country-rock bands, The L.A. Hootenanny and Pilbilly Knights. Lowe has also appeared in tv shows including Shooter, Ave 43, Cold, and Criminal Minds.
The University of Texas at Austin graduate has also starred in over twenty stage productions, and often collaborates with playwright Justin Tanner.
