Andrew Russell’s face is probably best recognized for playing Dr. Chandler in Disney’s live-action sci-fi hit, Armorsaurs. The show, based on a South Korean tokusatsu series, features a team of five human pilots who join forces with dinosaurs to defend Earth from aliens. Russell’s voice, however, is well known and loved by video game fans world-wide. A prolific voice actor, Andrew has played villain, hero, and everything in between for mega hits like World of Warcraft (Kalecgos), Honkai: Star Rail (Boothill), Genshin Impact (Eide), Identity V (Servais Le Roy – “Magician”), The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road (Bard Singer), Diablo IV (Hawe Wejinhani), Lost Ark (Balthor), and Wasteland 3 (Hard-Head).
Anime aficionados no doubt recall Russell’s performance as Benpats in the epic adventure One Punch Man, acclaimed for its “distinctive mix of comedy and action.” Other memorable anime credits include JoJo Bizarre Adventure (Akira Otoishi – “Chili Pepper”), and CITY Animation (Totoroki). He also voices Luka, a talented guitarist, dynamic superhero, and love interest to protagonist Marinette Dupain-Cheng, in the heartwarming superhero cartoon Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. Russell’s talent also shines in The Rainbow High and Rainbow World animated series and movies, stories based on the MGA Entertainment fashion doll franchise and noted for their themes of self-esteem and confidence.
Andrew has a BA in Musical Theatre, which served him well when he played Hank Majewski in the 2017-2018 Broadway tour of Jersey Boys. He is married to his high school sweetheart and fellow voice actor Brenna Larsen.
