Name a job on a film set and it’s pretty much guaranteed Tom Proctor has done it in the course of his film career. Most notably, Proctor is known for his work as a stunt man and stunt coordinator, having worked on G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Looper, Django Unchained, and Lawless, as well as doing various stunts for a multitude of other films. In 2014, Proctor joined Yondu’s band of mercenaries—the Ravagers—when he played Horuz in Marvel’s blockbuster hit Guardians of the Galaxy. His skills have been put to work on recurring role on HBO’s breakout thriller Westworld and he has had recurring roles on Nashville as Wayne the sound tech and Baskets, created by Louis C.K., Zach Galifianakis, and Jonathan Krisel.
Proctor’s efforts on and off the screen includes work as a filmmaker, producing projects like Finding Eden and My BFF Satan. His on-screen credits are numerous, including roles in The Birth of a Nation, Heathens and Thieves, The Courier, Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, the History Channel production of Roots, and more. Proctor can be seen on many shows such as his recurring role on Underground, plus Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Zoo, Justified, Criminal Minds, TURN: Washington’s Spies, True Detective, and ER.
