Anyone need a laugh, or just a smile? As Bodie, Joshua Hoover provided ample chuckles to counter the high-tension drama on AMC’s Halt and Catch Fire. Stepping far, far away from the land of techno-slang and questionable 1980’s wardrobe, he joins Negan’s crew for The Walking Dead’s seventh season. Hoover’s character, Joey, is deep in the Saviors’ ranks, bloodying his knuckles and manipulating Daryl—anything to ensure Negan’s vision for the world thrives.
Fans will recognize Hoover from his guest appearances on Timeout!, Rizzoli & Isles, You’re the Worst, Sleepy Hollow, The Millers, Tosh.0, How I Met Your Mother, and CSI: NY. His film credits include The Malibu Tapes, The Nice Guys with Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling, Semper Fight, and Republic of Two. Coming soon, Hoover will appear in The Leisure Seeker with Helen Mirren and Donald Sutherland. He is also working on the Funny or Die series Brockmire.
