Georgia native James Allen McCune is best known for his role as Jimmy in the second season of AMC’s hit drama The Walking Dead. He began his acting career in his high school’s drama club, Echostage. After graduating, he played Roger in Fabrefaction Theatre’s production of Rent in 2010.
In 2011, McCune made his way to television in the TV movie Hail Mary and an episode of Showtime’s Homeland. After he completed filming The Walking Dead in 2012, McCune went on to do an episode of Gentlemen Callers, played Craig opposite Dwayne Johnson and Jon Bernthal in Snitch, and portrayed Tommy Smith in the made-for-TV movie Anna Nicole. Recently, he landed a reoccurring role on Showtime’s Shameless as Matt.
