Genesis Rodriguez famously found love in Season 3 of the global time-twisting Netflix hit, Umbrella Academy. Her work as Sloane Hargreeves, the Sparrow Academy’s powerful Number 5, found favor with the sci fi romp’s worldwide fan base.
She is also beloved by Disney fans for her voicework in Big Hero 6 and Big Hero 6: The Series as Honey Lemon and Shuttle. Genesis also demonstrated her talent for She-Ra and the Princesses of Power for Dreamworks, voicing Perfuma.
The Miami, Florida native has also worked in Kevin Smith’s prolific creative orbit, acting in two of his films, Yoga Hosers and cult horror film Tusk.
Genesis spent several years working in the soap opera and telenovela arena, with recurring turns in Days of Our Lives, Spanish language series including Prisionera (2004), Dame Chocolate (2007) and Doña Bárbara (2008). She also appeared as Sarah in the hit show Entourage and films such as Man on a Ledge (2012), Identity Thief (2013) and Casa de Mi Padre (2012).
