Eric Goins is an actor, writer, producer and voice-over talent known for his portrayal of Steven Sharpe / The Gambler on DC Entertainment’s Stargirl and Larry on AMC’s Halt and Catch Fire.
Eric’s television credits include The Originals, Army Wives, Meet The Browns, One Tree Hill, Drop Dead Diva, Army Wives, Insatiable, Black Lightning and Cobra Kai. Eric also played Larry on AMC’s Halt & Catch Fire (Season 1 & 2) and has a recurring role as Steven Sharpe / The Gambler on DC Entertainment’s Stargirl. Eric has appeared in many films, including Ride Along and Ride Along 2, The Watch, The Family That Preys, The Accountant, Dirty Grandpa and Boss Level.
Originally from Tampa, FL Eric is a graduate of Emory University. After years in the corporate world, working in global brand marketing and corporate communications, Eric discovered Whole World Improv Theatre and immediately signed up to audition for classes. He soon developed a love for improv that turned into 20 years of performing and teaching improvisation, serving as Assistant Artistic Director and instructor for both Youth and Teen and Adult Improv training programs at World Improv Theatre in Atlanta. Eric also co-founded Compass Actor Services, and Yes And Films and has served as director, writer and producer for Turner Original Productions, MAV TV, and Georgia Public Broadcasting.
