Eleanor Matsuura is best known for her gutsy turn as lawyer-turned-zombie slayer Yumiko in AMC’s global hit The Walking Dead and as fierce Amazon warrior Epione in blockbuster films Wonder Woman and Justice League. The English actress also gained acclaim for her work as Juliet Chau, the fierce Baron of Cogs, on Into The Badlands.
Matsuura worked on stage at the Royal Court Theatre, Old Vic Theatre and several West End theatres in London. She has also appeared in several British TV dramas, including Extras and Doctor Who. Matsuura also features in the fourth series of the hit BBC One drama series Sherlock, playing the role of Detective Inspector Hopkins. She has done voice acting for video games such as Mass Effect: Andromeda and Dreamfall Chapters.
