Brian Tee is best known for his role as Takashi, a.k.a. Drift King (DK), in Justin Lin’s The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. He starred alongside Hugh Jackman in The Wolverine as Noburo Mori, gave a powerful performance as PFC Jimmy Nakayama opposite Mel Gibson in the 2002 film We Were Soldiers, and gained 7 nominations, including “Best Actor,” for his performance as Liu Kang in the second season of the Mortal Combat: Legacy series. Tee was featured as a series regular on the STARZ TV series Crash and had recurring roles on NBC’s Grimm and Hawaii Five-O. Tee also can be seen in the blockbuster Jurassic World opposite Chris Pratt. Soon, and as the nefarious Shredder in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.
Internationally, Tee was a lead in the Korean action hit No Teas for the Dead, and starred in the romantic comedy Wedding Palace. Tee can also be seen in the films such as Austin Powers in Goldmember, Fun with Dick and Jane, All In, Finishing the Game, Deadland, and Chain Letter. His television credits include Chicago P.D., Baby Daddy, Zoo, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Legends, The Lottery, Hawaii Five-O, Beauty and the Beast, Burn Notice, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Dark Blue, Bones, Jericho, Grey’s Anatomy, Entourage, The Unit, Wanted, Monk, JAG, The Pretender, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and many more.
